State Assembly member Mohan Kumar Khadka has filed a complaint against the District Coordination Committee, Okhaldhunga on corruption charges.
The complaint registered at the District Administration Office accuses the DCC Chair Jaya Bahadur Shrestha of indulging in irregularities in the distribution of relief materials to the earthquake survivors.
Khadka has called for an investigation into the alleged irregularities in the distribution of relief materials worth hundreds of thousand rupees, that were meant for the 2015 quake survivors. He has charged Shrestha of giving away the left over relief materials for members close to his party, Nepali Congress. Khadka belongs to the ruling Nepal Communist Party.
In response, DCC Chair Shrestha said he would soon make the details public.
