Toronto, August 29

The 13th Himalayan Festival is going to be held in Toronto, Canada's premier city, targeting the upcoming Visit Nepal 2020. The event will be host by the Nepalese Canadian Community Services (NCCS) at Nathan Philips Square on August 31^st, 2019.

President of NCCS, Bidur KC told Sunrisekhabar that Nepali Ambassador to Canada, MPs, and leaders of Canada, Nepali living in Canada set to participate in the event. KC claims that the program will help to encourage Canadian national to visit Nepal.

Likewise, the fair is also aimed to exhibit the identity of Nepali art and culture, he said. It is said that the local Nepali organizations and Nepalese business personals have been assisting for the fair.

According to him, Nepali cultural Jhanki, Dance, Nepali Panchebaja and Nepalese cuisines will be put on display at the event. There will also be a concert by famous Nepali singer Sameer Acharya and other popular artists at the fair.

He urged Nepali living in Canada to participate in the fair and help them a program to grand successful.

He also said that Turkish Air is proving a two-way air ticket for a lucky winner. The winner is said to be able to travel to any country where Turkish Air is destined.

There will be five different food stalls of Kathmandu Restaurant, Indian Grill, Karma Kitchen, Everest Restaurant and Urban Hakka at the event.

There is no entrance fee for the fair. The services have been organizing such a fair every year.

Embassy of Nepal in Canada and NRNA Canada has been assisting the event for years. Likewise, Kunjar Sharma and Associates, Turkish Air, Nepalese Canadian Heritage Center(NCHC),  Babu and Nilam Kandel (Everest Brokerage), Karkee Law Firm, Glass Master Auto Glass & Tint, MDS Visa, Immigration Services, Aamco Driving School, Karna Batala, Fadindra Shrestha, Nabaraj Gurung, Dhirendra Shahi, Ishwor Rajan, Ujwal Thapa and Zehra Patel (Henna Artist) are also the sponsor of the event.
