NC Spokesperson meets Nepali youth in Portugal's hospital

Nepali Congress (NC) central Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma who is presently on the Europe visit met a Nepali youth under medical treatment here for months following a road accident.
The Congress leader reached the hospital where Lokendra Pun Magar, 26, from Ghorahi of Dang, the district in State 5, has been admitted; and take his health updates.
Magar who had arrived here 10 months ago in course of foreign employment survived a major accident some eighth months back as he was on the way to his duty in an agricultural company. It took two weeks for him to regain consciousness. He suffered severe injuries to his back, stomach and legs.
The visit was completely a humanitarian one and meant for increasing morale of the patient, said Sharma. According to him, he managed time to meet the patient amidst his tight schedule for political programmes and other meetings. He said he felt so sorry to see a Nepali youth arrived in a foreign land in search for opportunity to realise a dream for a better life lying in the hospital bed for months.
He promised to apprise House of Representatives Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, State 5 chief minister Shankar Pokhrel and other authorities concerned about Magar's condition and make initiations for his assistance.
