'Let's all choose to challenge' the slogan   of international women day 2021AD .This is not the first time we are celebrating this international day in Nepal , but are we?

What we do?

Usually in these types of national and international days the government gives public holidays which is straight up wrong  .Some leaders of political parties attend the programs organized by organizations  , there is a chance that the leader has his own wife locked up in a room  we've seen many people who do the same . The government should dedicate this day to respect and empower women and all the ministries, bodies related to women must be run by women from the highest to lowest level .The women ministry is run by a man which just goes on to show the irony of our country and the discrimination of man and women can be seen really well in the western and southern part of the country .Nirmala panta a famous rape case of Nepal which caused a lot of chaos in the country and the government was also in a lot of pressure . What was the response of government?  Home minister Ram Bahadur Thapa (Badaal) said that rape cases are normal they happened in the past and will continue whats new? We can clearly see the government running on an external pressure from this statement , the public went mad about this statement but after sometime the movement ended itself , the cause was government's ignoring habit  . When a girl is raped the blame goes to her clothes and not to the men's mentality .Even the females pain is not understood by the females.

What should be done ?

The government must make a rule of providing education to girls where the government must take at least 50% of the fees . The government has enough money to buy more  cars for the ministers and high post holding personnel but not enough to money to pay for even a single person's school fees , but the government has tried a lot of things to increase the enrollment of girls in schools we must help the government . The dirty game of politics must be removed from education sector completely . The locals also must be aware about women education and they should also help the schools, government and other organizations to encourage the programs related to women empowerment and education.   Instead of calling leaders of political parties to women related programs the people who have done work to reduce gender discrimination or has helped to increase the women empowerment level must be called in such programs. We can also establish all girls schools for the girls .I would like to give an example of Damak National School, Damak, Jhapa. This school runs from Play Group to Class 5 and is run completely by women except for the accountant. The school excels in ECA/CCA this proves that if given chance the women can also do a lot and do not need the support of men for achieving something . We don’t usually see the news of such organizations as they're all covered by other news articles and also the  different types of political programmes  and their news completely demolishes the chance of someone seeing these types of news .This also proves that politics can ruin almost anything if not done properly.
